Vigo Jumbo Squid In Oil Is One Of The Most Popular Items In Our Growing Line Of Seafood Products. The Squid Is Part Of The Mollusk Family And Is Closely Related To Both The Octopus And Cuttlefish. Although There Are More Than 50 Species Of Squid, Those That Are Younger And Smaller Are The Most Tender. Their Highly Flavorful Taste Is Due To Their Rich Diet Of Fish, Crabs, And Shrimp. Squid Is A Very Versatile Food That Lends Itself Well To Many Types Of Dishes Including Stews, Stir-Fries And Many Grilled Or Fried Dishes.
