Groton Valley Traders (GVT) is a family owned business with one goal which is to make it easy for everyone to buy environmentally friendly products.

 

There is no doubt that we all need products to live, but we are also aware that some products are better for the environment.  We all live busy lives and as parents we understand the feeling of anxiety that comes with raising kids in todays hectic, constantly connected world.  We don't all have the time or energy to think about every single purchase that we make.  Sometimes, it is all we can do to remember to pick up bread from the store on the way home from work.  There has to be an easier alternative and so GVT was born!

 

We only stock high quality eco-friendly products. We do the research so that you don't have too.  Check out our blog if you are wonder why a particular material is better than another or don't - just know that we have your back  We will offer subscriptions so that you can order once and forget.  We will remember for you and send out the item(s) on a time table that you select so the next time you reach for something guess what it'll be there.  We also offer Affirm to help make it easier to budget. 

  

It is safe to say that we all want our kids to find their passion. be happy and live a fulfilling joy filled life.  However, for that to happen, we need to to make sure that we are doing our part by keeping our planet healthy so that our kids inherit a planet that they can be proud of.  So, our promise to you is that when it comes to helping create a happy healthy planet for our kids, Groton Valley Traders will be part of the solution and not the problem.

 

Groton Valley Traders is a customer-focused online store, that sells products that have at least one of the following characteristics: they have been created from recycled or reclaimed material; are reusable; are grown using organic farming methods; are created from a sustainable source; help women from around the world live better safer lives; are compostable; are eco-friendly.    

 

Groton Valley Traders has suppliers that are based mostly in the US but some do reside in other countries.  One such place is India, where we buy scarves that help women live better lives after being caught up in the human trafficking trade.  

Since we are a small business and painfully aware that we cannot carry every product to please everyone, we will provide links to products on other websites that we feel meet or exceed our requirements.  I know that the majority of companies won't do this because they want to keep you on their site but our kids are important and so is our planet!  The links that we provide will - whenever possible - be affiliate links.
