Matcha Is A Green Tea Powder Made From Shade-Grown Leaves Of The Camellia Sinensis Plant. It Originated In China And Was Popularized In Japan By A Buddhist Monk In The 12Th Century, Where It Was Used To Provide Monks With The Energy They Needed To Meditate For Many Hours. Unlike Other Green Teas, When Consuming Matcha, You Are Consuming The Entire Leaf, So It Has Much More Nutritional Properties And Flavors.
