Safety is always a top priority when we think of our families, workplaces, vehicles, and homes, but why does environmental protection often come in last? Earth is our home, and as far as the experts know, it's the only one we have.

Let's face the facts, plastic has many uses in today's society, and while the majority of us know that plastic is terrible for the environment and detrimental to our health, removing it from our lives is hard to do and will take time. So, rather than bury our heads in the sand, let us look at some fundamental ways that we can reduce the risks associated with using it:

Cotton comes from two distinct plant types. Highland Cotton, the most familiar kind, accounts for almost 90% of the entire world's cotton. The remaining 10% comprises two high-quality cotton—Egyptian cotton and Pima cotton—both 'extra-long-staple' cotton.

Modal cotton is similar to Viscose Rayon but without the waste generated during its creation.

Bamboo is one of the most sustainable materials that planet earth has. Unbeknownst to most people, Bamboo is a type of grass and not wood at all. It is cheaper than most types of wood, can grow 98" in 24 hours, and has many uses in food, medicine, textiles, paper, construction, furniture, home decor, and musical instruments. 

We are all familiar with Cotton. Manufacturers use Cotton in all types of items that we use every day. For example, sanitary products, makeup, removal pads, Cotton Puffs, Ear swabs, Towels, Bathrobes, and the list go on. However, we are now seeing more and more items described as manufactured from Organic Cotton. In this post, I'll explain the differences between the two types of Cotton.
